In early morning at 6:00 am your tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby in Cairo to transfer to El Minya governorate a 4 hrs driving from Cairo and upon your arrival you visit Tuna El Gebel necropolis that was mainly the burial site of Hermopolis or El Ashmonien where the centre of worshiping of God THOT the God of writing knowledge and wisdom in ancient Egypt , it was used as the necropolis of the 15th province in ancient Egypt . (( duration 2 hrs )).
Then you will go to see Beni Hassan tombs that date back to the reign of the Middle Kingdom which these tombs were used as burial places of many local governors of the region of El Minya during the rule of the 11th dynasty about 2134 bc – 1991 bc ., and the 12th dynasty ( 1991 bc – 1759bc).

Then you will go to Tell Al Amarna or Akhetaten necroplolis and temples , which its name means the Sun disc ATEN in the Horizon , where the main capital city of Aten that was erected by king Amenhotep the 4th who he changed his name to Akhenaten which means the one who shining like Aten , but in short time after his death the city was destroyed by the High Priests of Amon and all what left were just the remains of the temples of Aten and some of the royal members tombs , we also found 350 tablets were made of clay date back to the 15th century bc they re found in 1887 ad. These tablets are distributed in different places in the world which 50 of them in Cairo museum , 82 in the British museum , 200 in Berlin museum and 22 of them in Oxford but there are a few of them as private property .
